VP Fundraising - Diane Burke
The PTA holds fundraisers at Briarwood to support the programs and activities that are valuable to Briarwood students. PTA funds are vital to many of the school's functions, and include services such as curriculum enrichment programs, family nights, EA classroom support, the student directory and many other things. The Briarwood PTA funds over $35,000 in programs, equipment, classroom supplies, and services each year that benefit our students.
Below is a list of major fundraisers held throughout the year. Please note that as a PTA organization, part of the fundraising philosophy is that adults are considered the primary fundraisers, not children.
Jog-a-Thon - Children collect pledges and run during an all day school wide Jog-a-Thon. (Timeframe - September 30th).
Spirit Cups - A new fundraiser this year. Support our school and your favorite sports teams with these re-usable cups. (Timeframe -Late Fall)
McTeacher Night - Families are invited to a local McDonalds and a portion of all proceeds that evening benefit our school. (Timeframe - TBD)
