Only Nine Weeks Until Election Day!!

February 2 Campaign Kickoff

It was the best kickoff ever!  The King County Library Annex on Newport was packed – it was standing room only!  The event was kicked off by a singing group from Issaquah Valley Elementary called Listen Up. Check out their song, “You’ve Got to Vote” on youtube.  They will be performing at the February 21 Issaquah City Council meeting – the Council will be voting on a bond endorsement that night.

Fundraising

We are climbing towards our goal of $90,000 – but we still have a ways to go! There are 56,000 voters in the District and we need 60% of those voting to vote yes. That means we have to use every possible tool to reach our voters and that costs money.

PTAs have been major donors to the campaign – thanks a million times over! We couldn’t do this without you!

Donations in any amount are appreciated.  You can donate online at visvote.org.

Endorsements Are Rolling In

The Greater Issaquah Chamber of Commerce, Sammamish Chamber of Commerce, Sammamish City Council, and Seattle King County Realtors have all endorsed.

Legislators are also behind the bond. State Representatives Glen Anderson, Marcie Maxwell, Jay Rodne, and Ross Hunter have endorsed.  We expect others will sign on.

You can endorse the bond on our website, visvote.org.
