Staff Luncheon: Cinco de Mayo Staff Luncheon:
We’re treating staff to a delicious lunch featuring a variety of taco and burrito fixings. Sign up to bring an item or help serve!

Jump Start Espresso Cart Visit
Staff will enjoy a midweek pick-me-up with coffee and espresso drinks made to order! Volunteer to deliver drinks to classrooms…it’s fun!

🎁 Favorite Things – All Week Long!
Shower our staff with small surprises based on their favorite things! We encourage families to send small gifts or notes of appreciation to special staff members this week. Check out the Favorite Things list for ideas!

It is that time of year again! Every school year our PTA asks for submissions for the Golden Acorn Award and Outstanding Educator Award!

Please use the form(s) below to nominate a volunteer you believe has gone above and beyond for the Golden Acorn Award, and/or a Briarwood/ISD employee you feel has made an amazing impact on students at Briarwood.

The TK & Kindergarten Ceramics Project is coming up next month! 

Part 1: Project Building, will take place on Thursday, May 7th or Friday, May 8th
Part 2: Project Glazing, will take place on Thursday, May 21st or Friday, May 22nd

Our next popcorn Friday will May 1st! Popcorn Friday is one our most popular programs! It takes you to help keep this very loved program going! The volunteer sign up is now out for May and June! If you would like to volunteer, you can do that HERE!

We are looking for volunteers to head up an Edukit program at Briarwood! Edukits are a great way for parents to purchase their student's school supply lists with just a couple of clicks. The convenience is great for parents and teachers alike.

The prices are fair, and it can earn money for our school's PTA as a fundraiser. The money from any fundraiser we put on goes 100% back to the students and staff at Briarwood. 

Many schools do this, but we have not had someone volunteer to take this on in recent years. If you are interested, please email: PTABriarwood@gmail.com

In order to volunteer in ISD's schools, volunteers must complete a volunteer application and receive approval via email that their application has been approved. A new application must be submitted and approved each school year. If there is a chance you want to volunteer in any capacity, either with PTA or within the school itself, you must complete this process. You can access the volunteer application HERE.
