Save the date! We are excited to announce that the “Tastes of the World” multicultural event will be on Feb 26th this year!  It was such a fun event last year and we hope that many of you can attend again this year.

The event is Feb 26th, from 5:30pm-7:30 pm in the Briarwood multipurpose room.

This event will only be successful if families participate. Please encourage others to participate as well!

Our 2025-2026 Yearbook Committee is looking for photo submissions! The Yearbook Committee would photo submissions of: student activities, school events, clubs, spirit days, etc.! You can submit photos now through March 27th! Please submit your photos to: yearbook.briarwood@gmail.com

The famous Annual Briarwood Carnival Night is coming Friday, May 29th! Our first planning meeting will be January 29th @ 6pm! Email: Merrilee.Peha@gmail.com for the location address! Help planning and volunteers are needed to make this very loved event happen!

We are looking for volunteers to head up an Edukit program at Briarwood! Edukits are a great way for parents to purchase their student's school supply lists with just a couple of clicks. The convenience is great for parents and teachers alike.

The prices are fair, and it can earn money for our school's PTA as a fundraiser. The money from any fundraiser we put on goes 100% back to the students and staff at Briarwood. 

Many schools do this, but we have not had someone volunteer to take this on in recent years. If you are interested, please email: PTABriarwood@gmail.com

In order to volunteer in ISD's schools, volunteers must complete a volunteer application and receive approval via email that their application has been approved. A new application must be submitted and approved each school year. If there is a chance you want to volunteer in any capacity, either with PTA or within the school itself, you must complete this process. You can access the volunteer application HERE.
